Complaints filed before Authority/Deputy Commissioner or office of District Consumer Protection Council concerned regarding violation of following four sections of Punjab Consumer Protection Act, 2005:
Section 11 (Duty of disclosure regarding Products)
Section 16 (Duty of disclosure regarding Services)
Section 18 (Prices to be exhibited at business place) and
Section 19 (Receipt Should be issued)
To prepare Minutes of Meeting, get approved by DC/Chairman of DCPC and furnish the copy of the same to all concerned including Directorate of Consumer Protection Council, Punjab, Lahore
To submit data/reports to Directorate of Consumer Protection Council (CPC), Lahore on monthly basis or as directed by authority
To create awareness within the budgetary limits by use of different mode of communications among general public of their respective districts about their rights being Consumer and law available for remedy
