Punjab Consumer Protection Council
The Government of the Punjab is fully determined to promote the welfare of the people at large. The credit of implementing the PUNJAB CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, 2005, with the help of Punjab Assembly, also goes in the name of the same administration. For the first time in the history of Pakistan, a complete legislation has been promulgated for the protection and promotion of consumer rights and interests.
The Punjab
Consumer Protection Council (PCPC) has been established by the Government
of Punjab as an apex body of industries Department with the mission
“to protect & promote the rights & interests of the consumers”.
It will empower the consumers to express their complaints on a platfrom
for effective redressal. |
